The Complete Guide to Green Goblin Strain Cannabinoids

When you are browsing cannabinoids online, there are many factors to consider when finding the best strain for your dank indulgence. Do you want something more calming or energizing? Something that has a specific flavor profile? Depending on what type of vibes you prefer, there are endless options. If you like something that’s energizing with a rich flavor and incredible aroma, the Green Goblin strain might be the one for you!

While it might share a name with a popular Spider-Man foe, Green Goblin strain cannabinoids are far from a villain. Instead, it is one of the most popular cannabinoid strains that we offer here at Dank Lite.

Whether you’re a long-time Green Goblin enthusiast or someone interested in trying this strain for the first time, this guide should give you everything you need to know about it. First, let’s start with its origin story.

Where Does Green Goblin Come From?

Green Goblin was first introduced as a descendant of both Northern Lights and Skunk #1. Depending on who you ask, some say that Goblin is the Green Crack strain with a new name or it is a phenotypic variant of Green Crack. At Dank Lite, our Green Goblin flower shares a similar lineage of Warlock (Afghani and Skunk) and Big Bud (Afghani, Skunk #1, and Northern Lights).

What Does Green Goblin Flower Look Like?

As the name suggests, Green Goblin features a beautiful, complex green color with reddish-orange hair. There is also a visible layer of trichomes that add to its distinctive appearance.

What Does it Smell Like?

If you love earthy, musky, or skunky scents, Green Goblin is the one for you! It offers a rich aroma with some inflections of diesel that add an entirely new layer of complexity.

How About Taste?

Green Goblin has a predominantly earthy flavor profile with some fruity and menthol notes in the mix. It is widely known for tasty berry notes on the inhale and fresh pine on the exhale. While it is perfectly enjoyable to smoke or vape, many of our customers also love using its terpene-rich flower as an ingredient in meals, drinks, tinctures, or topical remedies!

Does Green Goblin Hemp Get You High?

Green Goblin hemp flowers contain less than 0.25% Delta 9 THC. This 90% Indica strain does not produce the psychoactive effects of marijuana, though it will burn in a similar fashion.

Though it does not produce the psychoactive effects of marijuana, Green Goblin has a reputation for producing a mild, restful, and relaxing buzz. This makes it perfect for a chill afternoon or when winding down after your long day.

However, just because Green Goblin hemp does not produce psychoactive effects, this does not mean it is always safe to use. If you are currently pregnant, breastfeeding, or want to abstain from consuming any amount of THC, it should be avoided in these situations.

What About Green Goblin Delta 8?

Unlike our Sativa flower, the Delta 8 flower does produce a chill psychoactive effect that is perfect for any sesh. The flower is evenly coated with approximately 100g of hemp-origin Delta 8 distillate to add an extra layer of positive vibes!

Compared to Delta 9, Green Goblin Delta has about one-quarter of the psychoactive potency. It is perfect for someone looking for a mild sensation without feeling a traditional “high”. In fact, Green Goblin, both Delta 8 and non-Delta 8 varieties, often has an energizing effect – perfect for those who want a little spark for creativity.

As with our regular Green Goblin Sativa, it should be noted that Delta 8 is not for everyone in every situation. If you are planning to drive or operate heavy machinery, avoid using it during these times. You should also consult with your doctor before trying Delta 8 if you are currently experiencing any medical conditions related to blood pressure or ocular pressure.

Does Green Goblin Have Any Side Effects?

All cannabinoid strains can potentially have side effects. For Green Goblin, the most common would be dry eyes and dry mouth. If you experience either or both of these side effects, you can relieve them using hydrating eye drops and drinking plenty of fluids.
